Join us in Damascus, VA

While we love having the ocean 5 minutes from our home in Charleston, SC... we are true outdoor adventurists and escape to the mountains every chance we get.

The entire weekend will be hosted on Eléa's family off-grid mountain retreat located in the Jefferson National Forest near White Top Mountain, Mount Rogers & Grasyon Highlands Park at:

Camp or Stay In Town

Adam & Eléa will be glamping on the property in their travel trailer. We have 6 RV spots along with plenty of primitive tent & hammock camping options. You're welcome to join on us on the mountain...Or stay at one of the nearby local Inns, hotels or AirBnBs.

If you want to glamp, but don't have an RV...There are LOTS of rental options, including: rvrentals.com | CruiseAmerica.com | Outdoorsy.com | rvshare.com

Glamp
RV, Van or Camper
Join us on the mountain property. 6 spots available (must RSVP a spot). NOTE: it's totally off-grid. There is NO water or electric. Generators welcome.

OPTIONAL: stay at one of the many RV friendly campgrounds with amenities 10-30 minutes away.
Camp
Tent & Hammocks
There is plenty of room for primitive tent & hammock camping (must RSVP). NOTE: no water or electric. There is a composting outhouse.
Inns
Hotels & AirBNB's
In Damascus, bout a 20-25 minute drive from the property, are several great Inns, rentals & AirBnB's. Another 15-20 minutes is a much larger town Abingdon, VA with plenty of hotel options.

The official wedding ceremony & celebration is on Saturday, October 21 @ 4pm EST. Here's a list of events you can join during our 20th anniversary adventure weekend:

Friday Oct. 20

Moto
9am - 1pm
Bring your motorcycle (or sports car) and join Adam for an incredible Blue Ridge Tour of some of the best twisties on the east coast.
Hike
12pm-4pm
Head over to Grayson Highlands State Park where the wild ponies roam, or hike up to the property ridge line.
Bonfire
6pm - 10pm
An evening reception with Adam & Eléa.

Saturday Oct. 21

Bike
9am - 1pm
A 17-mile, very mellow, beach cruiser hard tail friendly, down hill group bicycle ride from White Top Mountain down the Virginia Creeper Trail to Damascus. Bring your own bike, or we'll rent you one (any bike works well, mountain bikes NOT required).
Ceremony
4pm-6pm
A non-traditional, unique wedding ceremony in a natural outdoor setting where our best friends & family will each play a role. Dress is nice outdoor casual.
Celebrate
6pm - 10pm
An evening reception with Adam & Eléa celebrating their 20th anniversary meeting, and their commitment to a life long partnership.
